“We shall serve for the joy of serving, prosperity shall flow to us and through us in unending streams of plenty.” –Charles Fillmore
So many people resent what they do for a living. They feel unappreciated, and they base their feelings on how much money they make. What if they were to determine to love what they do, even if just for one day. What if they were to decide that what they’re doing is not a “job” but service to their fellow human beings? What if they saw their jobs as service to God as they understand God? With a change in the attitude from which they give, there will be an equal change in what they receive…and what they receive will not only be money, but also joy, satisfaction, peace of mind. There’s so much value to be gained from giving with joy. “Everyone should give whatever they have decided in their heart. They shouldn’t give with hesitation or because of pressure. God loves a cheerful giver.” –2 Corinthians 9:7
